Terms of Service
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Welcome to Ask Mufti. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
About the platform
Ask Mufti connects users with verified scholars and authors for authentic knowledge sharing, articles, and direct Q&A. Scholars are reviewed and approved by our administrators before they can publish or answer questions.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, please use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information when registering and when applying to become a scholar.
Community conduct
- Be respectful and sincere in all interactions.
- Do not post spam, harassment, hate speech, or misleading content.
- Do not impersonate another person or claim qualifications you do not hold.
- Do not attempt to misuse payments, payouts, or the monetization system.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or revoke scholar status for violations.
Questions and guidance
Answers and fatwas are general religious guidance intended for educational purposes and may not account for every personal circumstance. They are not a substitute for consulting a qualified scholar in your locality for matters requiring detailed knowledge of your situation.
Content ownership
You retain ownership of content you create. By posting questions, answers, or articles, you grant Ask Mufti a license to display and share that content within the platform. Scholars are responsible for the accuracy of the answers and fatwas they provide.
Payments
Paid questions, formal fatwa requests, and video sessions are processed through Razorpay. Prices are set by scholars within platform limits. Payments for answered questions are generally non-refundable; if a question is declined or goes unanswered, you will not be charged or will be refunded. For payment issues, contact support@askmufti.online.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any reason at our discretion to protect the community.
Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Ask Mufti is not liable for damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on guidance received through it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
